I've been playing the game for a long time already, and both games are similar, the difference is how the GM(game master) sets the game play...
About the game, its a free to play online game, its all about leveling up, making your character stronger, looking or searching for rare items that u can use in the game.... this game takes hours of playing, and if you want to spice up, make your character look cool, thats the time you spend....
So far, i find it easy to play Babyran, coz its easy to level up, the experience gained from the mobs are set high, golds that u get from the mobs are high, items are not that hard to find.... imagine, by just playing for two hours, u can reach a level of 150, with RanOnline(egames version), your lucky if you reach level 40 in the span of two hours.....
The strategy of the game in Babyran is base on how many times you rebirth, meaning how many times you've reset your level back to zero, the purpose of this is to inscrease your status points, coz your character's strength, life and power are depended on the rate of your status points, the higher ur status points the stronger your character gets.... Each time you rebirth, you gain 50 status points and the cost of gold to rebirth your character is base on the number of times you rebirth your character, 1st rebirth 500,000 gold, 2nd rebirth 1.m, 3rd rebirth 1.5m and so on and so fort.... With RANonline(egames version) theres no rebirth, the higher your level and proper configuration or distribution of your status points makes your character invinsible....
With Babyran, your cahracter's special skill are already available up to level 13, and the max level is 16..... level 14 and 15 skill, you can attain that by leveling up, and for level 16 skill, this is the one you have to pay or buy from the GM.... compared to RANonline(egames version) when u start your character, everything starts to zero, u have to look for your skills, and the max level skills are up to level 15 only, all the skills can be found in the game....
In Babyran, the game is always set on PK(player kill) mode, meaning, any player can attack you (vice versa) at anytime, so be careful when your online, coz if your using a rare item and u got killed, theres a possibility that your character might drop that item, and loose it.... with RANonline, before you start playing, you have an option where u can play in PK mode or in normal mode( you or other players cant attack each other)....
For the RANonline(egames version), this game really takes time, leveling from 1 to 60 would take a whole day, gold points are very low, your lucky if you manage to reach 500,000 golds in the span of 12 hours.... this game will definitely give you back aches, coz of the amount of time you have to put in...... leveling up in the game, definetly you have to be in a group or else you'll be making it more harder for your character to level up.... nice thing about this game, is that ep points or the game loads that you use to buy items for your character is available in almost all the stores, comparing it to BabyrAn, BabyRan's method of loading your game with points is that you must make a deposit to their bank account, and then inform the GM, that you deposited money to their account, and for verification purposes you must give them the info of the deposit slip given to you from the bank, this is the part that takes time.... and with RAN0nline(egames version) your gauranteed for customer support and your sure that your character wont be deleted, considering the hours and money spend on building your character..... im sure, you dont want your character to go away....
Both of the games, the maps and mobs are the same...
As the way i see it, for me, if i'm just playing for past time, and not taking it serously, Babyran would be okay.... but if your gonna play seriously, RANonline(egames version) would be a better choice....
